Family

I am very fortunate. I have been blessed with amazing siblings and lots of them. There are five kids total in my family and we are pretty spread apart in age. I am the oldest, coming in at 27. Risa, the youngest just turned 13. (Happy birthday, Risa!) When Caleb was born I was 12 years old and when Risa was born I was 14. I was always the mother hen and if you ask them they will probably tell you that I still treat them like I'm their second mother. I wouldn't have had it any other way. My heart overflows with thankfulness that I was born into this family with these amazing people as my siblings. I enjoy watching them grow up and cannot wait to see what direction God takes their lives in.

Caleb and Risa came this week to spend a couple of days with us while they are off of school for the summer and we have really had a great time. I thoroughly enjoy hanging out with them and getting to watch them spend time with Adalyn. She has A LOT of cool aunts and uncles.

Of course while they were here, I had to get them in front of my camera. They wanted new pictures for their MySpace so I was able to talk them into it.

Caleb and Risa, thanks for putting up with me and letting me take your pictures... again. I love you guys!

Bath Time in Black & White

Fun in the tub. She LOVES her rubber ducky.

4th of July Weekend

Wow, we had a busy weekend. We travelled to Jacksonville, Texas for a 4th of July party and family reunion. We had a great time, but I think I am still worn out! Thank goodness Adalyn is such a good baby, otherwise I don't know what I would do. I slacked on my picture taking duties this weekend, so I only have a few to share. I am still getting the hang of juggling the baby and the camera. =)
Adalyn & Mammer - her great grandmother.

Adalyn & cousin Jacob.
(**Note to new moms - the Bumbo makes an excellent traveling highchair!**)

Adalyn & cousin Sarah.

I hope you all had a great weekend with friends and family!
