It was blustery and a little colder than I would have liked, but this crew still managed to have a lot of fun!  Love their smiles and the way big sister keeps everyone in line. <3

It's Always Something {Georgetown Family Photographer}

This family.  We seem to have the worst weather luck!  Every year it's something... 

We have had freezing temperatures and stifling heat.  This year it was rain!  It had been clear in Georgetown ALL DAY but by the time our session started a little patch of rain had moved in.  Just a slight misting rain.  This crew was up for the challenge!  They didn't let the mist stop us, and I don't think you can even tell.  They are troopers!

This delightful family brings me flowers and sweet notes.  

Love spending time with them and only wish it was more!  

The sun was setting during our session, so we had less light to work with.  I LOVE the resulting individual portraits we were able to get and the look that the lower light provided. 

So soft and dreamy! 

This is the LAST of the SOCO mini-sessions from this year.  I have already had requests to offer them again next year.  Glad you guys have enjoyed them!  It is always an adventure to brave the crowds on SOCO, but totally worth it.

Fall Mini-Sessions {SOCO - Austin} Part 2

Love all the bright colors in this session and how we were able to get them up against that colorful mural.  <3  I think it looks awesome!  Little missy fell asleep in the car and did not wake up happy, isn't that just always how it goes?  I still loved this first image featuring her more serious face, but was so glad we were able to get some smiles out of her as the session progressed.  Yay!

Blind trust.  That's what almost 10 years of photographing the same family has earned me. This family will follow me wherever I suggest that we shoot!  Even when I mention hiking and tell them it will be an adventure. <3  They let me test out all of my location ideas on them, and let's be real after this many years of 3-5 sessions a year, we have to get creative to avoid shooting in the same spots over and over.  Love them dearly and so thankful for the joy of watching their children grow.

This family.  Cute as can be!  They were able to grin and bear it through the cold, windy day.

1st Birthday Cake Smash Sessions

First birthday, cake smash sessions are the best!  There is never any way to predict if that little one is going to attack the cake with gusto or stare at it with confusion.  But guaranteed, they will do exactly the opposite of what you expect and be adorable in the process.  It's so fun to capture this very special milestone.

Looking Back....Fall 2016 { New Braunfels Family Photographer }

As I start to plan this coming fall, I was looking through my images from last fall and realized that I never shared this session. 

 I LOVED this spot we found in downtown New Braunfels. Urban mixed with nature, I'll definitely be back.
