Such a sweet family! 

It is always so fun to get to spend an afternoon with a new mom and hold their brand new little ones.  I love talking everything babies. 

 

This family was precious and this baby is so well loved! 

Both sets of grandparents were there helping and in on the fun.  It was a party!

Congratulations, you two.  He's beautiful!

 

 

 

 

Fall 2013 ~ Family Mini Session

 

I’m excited to announce the dates and locations for Fall Family Mini-Sessions!

One fantastic change I’ve made this year is that now ALL of the digital negatives from your family mini will be included in your session fee!!

You no longer have to choose only three negatives that you like. You get them all!!

To book a fall family mini-session, just reply to this email. 

Times, as always, are scheduled on a first to respond basis, so don’t hesitate! 

There will be a $50.00 deposit to hold your spot. 

I will not be doing as many sessions this year… so don’t delay!!

Last But Not Least: Bluebonnets {Part 5} - Spring 2013 - Austin Child & Family Photographer

Loved photographing this sweet family. 

They were troopers with the worst luck!  The first day we had our session scheduled there were dark clouds and rain in the vicinity, so we postponed.  The day we rescheduled, there were dark clouds but NO rain on the radar.  We decided to go for it, because we didn't want to miss our chance with the bluebonnets. And of course it drizzled on us during the session!!  But they persevered and we got some great shots with a little editing out of rain drops. :)

 

On a side note, I am not sure that any child has ever thought I was as funny as this little one did. 

 She has a great sense of humor.  I like her. :)

 

A Violin At Sunset {Austin Child Photographer} Dorean Pope Photography

After my bluebonnet session with the sweet sisters below, as the sun was setting, big sister and I headed to a nearby field.  She brought her violin along and wanted to get a picture playing her violin. 

 

I am beyond thrilled with the resulting image. 

 

There is just something about it that captivates me. 

So many words that come to mind... peace, innocence, youth, and beauty.
