Looking back...

I have been learning a lot of new tricks in photoshop recently and I have been experimenting on older pictures. These are a couple of bridal portraits I took back in June of 2006 that I gave a make-over to this afternoon.

Adalyn and I had some friends over for a play date yesterday. Of course I had to grab my camera and snap a couple of shots while we were outside, I just got a new lens that I have been dying to play with. :)

Jacki & Steve - August 15, 2008

Jacki and Steve got married on Friday morning at the amazing and beautiful Zilker Botanical Gardens. Crystal Hoey of Waterloo Weddings was their photographer and I got to tag along and second shoot. We had a lot of fun! It was a sweet and simple ceremony, with family and a few close friends in attendance. I really enjoyed getting to capture their special day.

Baby Bump - Maverick

Maverick is on his way. He will be welcomed into the world by his three older sisters who are very excited to have a little brother. His mom is one of the best mother's I know. I admire her and hope to follow in her footsteps as I raise Adalyn. Her love for her children is so strong that it is tangible. She doesn't sweat the small stuff, and takes plenty of time to hug, kiss, and play with her kids. Her home is peaceful.

Tabi, you are an incredible example! I had a wonderful time with your family. Thank you all for spending the evening with me.
