Dorean Pope Photography - The Z man turned 2! - Pflugerville, Cedar Park Child Photographer

This photo session was in honor of Z man's 2nd birthday. He is ADORABLE. That's all I can say. Oh, and note to self *in the future, be sure your mommy brain remembers to pack the props used to make kiddos laugh. If you don't, you will once again have to make due by putting a pack of treats in between your lips and pretending to be cookie monster eating them (shaking around and talking super silly). This works well, but is much more embarrassing than playing with a stuffed animal. =)

Oh, and WAY TO GO Z's MOM for coming up with a super fabulous location for this session. I think it turned out great, and I will be heading back in that direction in the near future!

Dorean Pope Photography - Family Fun - Austin Child and Infant Photographer

This session was about the arrival of Little Miss "F" to this wonderful family. Unfortunately, she wasn't feeling all that up to picture taking. We managed to get a couple of shots of her, but for the most part - her big sister stole the show. While mommy was tending to baby, big sis and I had a great time running around the hills at Butler Park. I love the serious shots that I got of "C". I think they capture some of her contemplative personality. Such a cutie!

Dorean Pope Photography - Sweet Baby M - Austin, Cedar Park, Leander New Born/Infant Photographer

Meet sweet baby M. You will remember her previous appear here on this blog. I told her mama that it would be best for us to do her newborn session during the first two weeks of her life because during that time babies just sleep and sleep and we would be able to get some of those fun, sleeping pictures of her. Baby M has a sense of humor. Although she was only 11 days old, she was WIDE awake the whole time. She has her eyes closed in some of the shots, but DO NOT be fooled. She was wide awake, determined not to miss a thing.

She is absolutely beautiful and I wish you guys the best of luck as your family gets to know this little addition.

Dorean Pope Photography - Beach Trip - Austin, Cedar Park, Leander Photographer

Here are a couple of pictures I took while on vacation in Key West, Fl. I didn't take as many as I would have liked. It's hard to keep track of two little kiddos and carry around a camera at the same time, but I got a few fun pictures. Although we got some scenery shots, my favorites are still the portrait type pictures I took of Adalyn and her cousin. I love capturing kids. Every time I see a really good picture of a child I think about the slide shows we did when my siblings and I graduated from high school. It is so special to look back at your childhood in picture and remember each phase of life. When I see a portrait that really captures a child's personality I think - this will be a great addition to their slide show. It is so special to capture a child just as they are so that a parent can remember them at this age when they look back. Speaking from experience now as a parent I can say, it all goes by SOO quickly!

Dorean Pope Photography - Spring Bride - Austin, Bastrop Wedding Photographer

My lovely little sister got married at the end of March. It was a very sweet outdoor ceremony at Bastrop State Park. I was super pregnant at the time and very busy getting ready for baby. Thankfully, my sister is patient and gave me plenty of time to edit her pictures although I'm sure the wait was killing her. I hope they were worth the wait and that they provide memories to cherish for the rest of her life. Here is a glimpse of her wedding day.
