Miss B Turns 1 {Cake Smash Session}

Oh my!  Miss B turned 1 year old and her First Birthday Session did NOT disappoint.  

We had a blast in her back yard, a setting that she was comfortable in, complete with her first taste of birthday cake and a bubble bath after!  She's a doll!

It's been so fun getting to watch her grow this year, documenting all of her milestones with her newborn session, her 6 month session, a bluebonnet session, and now her 1 Year Old {Cake Smash} session.

Happy Birthday To You Mr. E {Austin Photographer}

Happy 1st Birthday to Mr. E! He was just about as serious and thoughtful as they come during our session, but I got him to crack a little grin for me to show off those teeth.heart emoticon

Adelina's Cake Smash - {Dorean Pope Photography}

I had so much fun with this adorable little angel.  She was a blast from start to finish!  

Her mom and dad recently embarked on an adventure that brought them to Austin to raise their family and I'm so glad they did!!  Speaking from experience, I can say that Austin is a wonderful place to grow up.  I wish you guys the best of luck settling in and I look forward to capturing Adelina for you as she grows!

He's just the most laid back relaxed baby I know.  Give him his fingers and he's good.  

Insert, cake smash session and unlike some little ones, Mr. Chill went to town on his cake!  Flipped it over and covered himself in it! It was so fun to watch!

He started so politely....

This handsome little guy is about to turn ONE!  In honor of his birthday, we got together for a photo session and while we were at it, we grabbed some shots of his big sis and family as well.  

This family is one of the blessings we received when we moved to San Marcos.  In just over a year, they have become dear friends!  We love them!

Coming soon, there will be some shots of his cake smash as well.

Miss Kylie Turns 1 {Austin Child Photographer}

 

 

Miss Kylie is turning 1!!!  We celebrated with a portrait session and cake smash, but she missed the memo that it was a celebration.  She was quite unsure about everything that was going on and mostly just wanted her mama.  Thankfully, this was a day that I wasn't pressed for time and we were able to give little missy and break and hit reset for her.  Once we did, things went much more smoothly and I am so happy with the way we were able to capture her happy sweet self.

She had an oh-so-serious expression on her face as she got started, but she kept saying "num...num..." as she ate.  It was precious! Once she got going... she really got into it!

Another fun cake smash session to share with you.

We did this session on this little guy's birthday, which was fun.

 

I hear he is a really happy and smiley little guy and the day of his session, he just didn't really want to play.  He mostly wanted his mommy.  As it turns out, the little guy had two ear infections.  Poor baby.  What a champ!! I never would have guessed.  A testament to his sweet and happy nature.

 

We still got plenty of cake fun out of him....

 

This look says... "Can  touch it??"

 

Hmmm.... Interesting...

I'll take some milk to go with that!

Oh my! This session was so much fun!! 

This sweetie's mom had some really fun ideas for the session. I LOVED them!! 

I can't believe I've never done a cake smash session before and I can't wait to do another.
