Last But Not Least: Bluebonnets {Part 5} - Spring 2013 - Austin Child & Family Photographer

Loved photographing this sweet family.
They were troopers with the worst luck!  The first day we had our session scheduled there were dark clouds and rain in the vicinity, so we postponed.  The day we rescheduled, there were dark clouds but NO rain on the radar.  We decided to go for it, because we didn't want to miss our chance with the bluebonnets. And of course it drizzled on us during the session!!  But they persevered and we got some great shots with a little editing out of rain drops. :)

On a side note, I am not sure that any child has ever thought I was as funny as this little one did.
She has a great sense of humor.  I like her. :)

A Violin At Sunset {Austin Child Photographer} Dorean Pope Photography

After my bluebonnet session with the sweet sisters below, as the sun was setting, big sister and I headed to a nearby field.  She brought her violin along and wanted to get a picture playing her violin.

I am beyond thrilled with the resulting image.

There is just something about it that captivates me.
So many words that come to mind... peace, innocence, youth, and beauty.

Bluebonnets {Part 4} - Spring 2013 - Austin Child & Family Photographer

Love these sweet sisters in the bluebonnets.
Spending time together, eating a snack, drinking some yummy soda.
Relaxed, happy, and fun portraits.

Such a cutie!! Love her smile and her little ringlet curl sticking out!!

Isn't this baby in the bluebonnets just darling?? Loving all of these sessions.
This is why we deal with the heat in Central Texas... for the beautiful Spring!

Bluebonnets {Part 2} - Spring 2013 - Austin Child & Family Photographer

Bluebonnets, part 2....

Bluebonnets {Part 1} - Spring 2013 - Austin Family & Child Photographer

It's that time again!  Spring in Central Texas means Bluebonnets.

They bloomed a little later than usual in our area and gave me a little scare.
I was afraid that it was going to be an off year.
But better late than never, I am getting some really fun bluebonnet sessions in!

If you grew up in Texas, taking pictures in the Bluebonnets reminds you of spring and Easter.
It is just a part of childhood in Texas.

Kendall {Senior Portraits} Austin - Dorean Pope Photography

Enjoyed this senior session!  We started out down on South Congress before heading over to the greenbelt and Barton Springs at Zilker Park.  A great mix of locations and settings.

Kendall, I'm so excited to see where life takes you.
You have big dreams and I have no doubt that you are going to achieve them!
Thanks so much for letting me be a little part of your senior year!
